Software Engineer II, Android Automotive Developer Platforms

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• 1 year of work experience in mobile application development.

Nice to haves:

• 1 year of experience with Mobile application development.
• 1 year of experience with Android application development.
• 1 year of experience with performance, systems data analysis, visualization tools, or debugging.
• Experience developing accessible technologies.

What you'll be doing:

• Contribute to the development of the Car App Library, a cross-platform environment to build Automotive applications.
• Build understanding and knowledge on building APIs and frameworks for third-party developers.
• Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.
• Write product or system development code.
• Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
