Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
1 year of experience with ML infrastructure.
2 years of experience with software development in C++, Python and SQL.
Experience with Data Analysis.

Preferred

Conceive, build, and launch novel ML models and solutions, from initial idea to full production deployment, addressing complex and ambiguous problems.
Integrate ML classifiers from other teams, harmonizing them into a powerful, cohesive classification system that delivers unified insights.
Analyze complex problems, such as spikes in abuse or platform vulnerabilities, to devise targeted solutions for mitigation and prevention.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders across YouTube to champion data-driven solutions and influence platform-wide strategies.
Engage in infrastructure work as needed, such as designing and implementing data pipelines or optimizing system performance.
