Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
2 years of experience with software development in C++, Python and SQL.
1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio (e.g., technology duplicating and responding to the human voice), reinforcement learning (e.g., sequential decision making), ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
Experience with Data Analysis.

What you'll be doing
Conceive, build, and launch novel ML models and solutions, from initial idea to full production deployment, addressing and ambiguous problems.
Integrate ML classifiers from other teams, harmonizing them into a classification system that delivers unified insights.
Analyze problems, such as spikes in abuse or emerging platform vulnerabilities, to devise targeted solutions for mitigation and prevention.
Collaborate with a group of stakeholders across YouTube, including analysts, data scientists, and policy experts, advocating data-motivated solutions and influencing platform-wide strategies.
Be comfortable doing some amount of infrastructure work (e.g., launch a Machine Learning (ML) classifier). Work on designing and implementing data pipelines, optimizing system performance, or maintaining crucial classification infrastructure.
