Engineering Analyst, Trust and Safety, Ads Account Takeover

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in data analysis, including identifying trends, generating summary statistics, and drawing insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
• 5 years of experience managing projects and defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.

Nice to haves:

• Bachelor's degree or a relevant experience in a technical field (computer science, engineering, math, physics, cyber security).
• 5 years of experience with one or more of the following languages: SQL, R, Python, or C++.
• Experience in areas such as deriving actionable insights from data sources, cyber security, or large-scale data analysis.
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

What you'll be doing:

• Provide detailed and actionable qualitative and quantitative understanding of the Ads account takeover threat landscape.
• Design and build early warning alerts for novel and changing threats based on researching attacker operations.
• Apply security intelligence to respond to new adversarial campaigns and work with product and engineering teams to implement prevention and detection systems.
• Provide training and work with Ads Safety on tooling improvements.
