Data Center Facilities Technician (Mechanical)

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of Mechanical/HVAC experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 lbs (23 kg) of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts.

Nice to haves:

• 5 years of experience in maintenance of mechanical/cooling distribution systems or related field.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical systems used in a data center environment.
• Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance on data center systems.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as piping and mechanical components.
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of water pumps, HVAC, and control systems.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new mechanical equipment.
