Requirements

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.

Nice to Haves

Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.
2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
Experience developing accessible technologies.
Experience in working with one or more from the following: Spanner, Bigtable, Boq/Pod, OnePlatform, Flume.

What You'll Be Doing

Design and develop reliable infrastructural components or improvements for our services.
Identify, evaluate and measure the impact of projects in Server Platform.
Instrument and drive improvements to product health.
Improve code health, accessibility, testability and maintainability.
Participate regularly in an onduty rotation during business hours, including handling releases and code integrations, answering questions, distributed system debugging, implementing technical mitigations and long term fixes, as well as post-facto blameless postmortem authoring.
