Android Developer Relations Engineer, Laptops and Tablets

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3 years of work experience in a technical role (e.g., software engineering, solutions consultant, etc.) or equivalent technical experience.
• Experience with Android application development.

Nice to haves:

• 3 years of experience as a technical practitioner in a developer community.
• Experience with Modern Android Development and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience in developer relations, technical consulting, professional services or program management.
• Experience with Android Adaptive apps (e.g., Mobile/Foldables/Tablets/Laptops) including input support (e.g., KB/Mouse/Stylus).
• Experience working with external partners, such as app developers, SDK developers or OEMs.

What you'll be doing:

• Advocate for developers internally and build narratives around new releases and features.
• Develop outreach materials like code samples, blog posts, and presentations.
• Meet developers to gain insights and expand feedback through various channels.
• Participate in technical discussions to advocate for developer needs.
• Build and foster an external community ecosystem of developers and experts.
