Data Center Facilities Technician, Controls

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5 years of experience in Controls/Automation in an industrial or commercial environment
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment
• Ability to work non-standard hours and work rotations/shifts

Nice to haves:

• 5 years of experience in controls/automation, or construction/technical environment or a related field
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, power plants, or laboratories
• Experience in scripting language
• Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, relays and troubleshooting
• Ability to communicate with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on the data center systems

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems
• Produce standards and templates for global control/monitoring system analysis
• Operate, monitor various information streams in the 24/7 control room
• Direct the execution of intricate control system programming
• Provide operational and maintenance insights during the design review process
