Staff Software Engineer, SiteKit

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 8 years of experience in software development
• 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products
• 3 years of experience with software design and architecture
• 2 years of experience of working with Content Management System (CMS) ecosystems

Nice to Haves

• Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field
• 8 years of experience with data structures/algorithms
• 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role
• 3 years of experience working in a structured organization involving cross-functional projects
• Experience with Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence

What You'll Be Doing

• Act as the engineering leader of the SiteKit product
• Act as a technical bridge between sitekit (SK) team and Google engineering realm
• Follow AI trends and innovate SiteKit accordingly
• Understand the dynamics of the Web Ecosystem and collaborate with product areas
