Software Engineer II, Meet Media Processing, Cloud

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.

Nice to Haves

• Experience in working with web/mobile application development, Unix/Linux environments, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, or networking.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop infrastructure that supports Meet's need for cloud-side audio and video processing.
• Partner with feature and quality teams to support and incorporate new functionality.
• Support running Meet media servers in production.
• Contribute to code reviews, design discussions, and technical documentation to promote a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.
