Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
7 years of Electrical or Mechanical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
Experience working on projects in a data center environment.
Experience in Electrical or Mechanical maintenance and operations of a data center.
Nice to haves:
7 years of experience in maintenance of mechanical/cooling distribution systems or electrical distribution systems or construction/technical environments or a related field.
Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting utilizing standard hand tools, digital metering, or calibration/diagnostic equipment.
Knowledge of mechanical systems or electrical systems.
Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance or upgrade work on data center systems.
What you'll be doing:
Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
Provide effective leadership for successful critical system troubleshooting and repairs.
Operate critical plant equipment as authorized by facilities manager.
Provide coordination/input for global facilities programs such as electrical maintenance, CMMS, BMS, energy savings, training, and thermography.
Respond to critical data center events, alarms, and be a point of escalation on operational issues.
