Software Engineer III, AI/ML, Page Quality

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree.
• 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field.
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging).
• Experience with Python and C++.

Nice to haves:

• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms.
• Experience in full-cycle development and productionization of Machine Learning systems.
• Experience in distilling and deploying production-grade LLMs.
• Experience with Kotlin.

What you'll be doing:

• Own projects from initial ideas to design, analysis, and implementation.
• Collect, analyze, and visualize data from various sources to formulate and test hypotheses.
• Design and implement ML systems from training data composition to hyperparameter tuning to post-deployment monitoring and optimizations.
• Understand and build upon the latest technologies such as Gemini foundational models using distillation and fine-tuning.
