Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
1 year of experience with software development in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, C, C++, Java, JavaScript).
1 year of experience with data structures and algorithms.
1 year of experience with Google Cloud Infrastructure's compute, storage, and networking services.
1 year of experience architecting and deploying solutions on Google Cloud Infrastructure.
Nice to haves:
Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
1 year of experience with open source systems like Apache Iceberg, Spark, etc.
1 year of experience in working with partners like SAP, Salesforce.
1 year of experience with distributed data processing, building infrastructure.
What you'll be doing:
Lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to select among available technologies.
Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.
Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
Write product or system development code. Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).
Create a cross-cloud data analytics product while working with executive software engineers and Product Manager leads. You will influence the roadmap, work with customers and partners, and help in building a culture of operational excellence within the new team.
