Software Engineer III, AI/ML, Search Ads Quality

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience
• 2 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages, or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree
• 1 year of experience with one or more of the following: Speech/audio, reinforcement learning, ML infrastructure, or specialization in another ML field
• 1 year of experience with ML infrastructure (e.g., model deployment, model evaluation, optimization, data processing, debugging)

Nice to Haves

• Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical field
• 2 years of experience with data structures or algorithms
• Experience developing accessible technologies
• Experience with Google's ML stack: Tensorflow, SAX, GeMax, TPUs, etc
• End-to-end experience launching applied ML, NLP or LLM projects

What You'll Be Doing

• Implement solutions in specialized ML areas, utilize ML infrastructure
• Contribute to model training, optimization, and data processing
• Write related product or system development code
• Innovate and iterate on machine learning model training recipes
• Collaborate with peers and stakeholders through design and code reviews
