Bachelor's degree in Network Engineering or Telecom Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
2 years of experience with networking protocols and troubleshooting.
Experience in optical transmissions systems (e.g., DWDM) and Local Area Network/Wireless Protocols and TCP/Internet Protocol.
Nice to haves:
Experience supporting and directing field operation technicians, engineers, contractors, and vendors in a Telecom working environment.
Experience in developing and implementing automation solutions for network deployment.
Experience with process improvement or process engineering methodologies (e.g., Lean, Six Sigma).
Experience in telecommunications, with a working knowledge of network infrastructure, optical transport systems, layer 2/3 (switches, routers), third-party leased network assets, and installation vendors.
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Drive adaptable approaches, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve network deployment cycle time and operational costs through process improvements.
Own an area of responsibility, addressing issues, anticipating needs, and escalating as necessary, while identifying automation opportunities to improve efficiency and prevent reoccurring failure modes.
Maintain accurate network data to drive operational excellence.
