Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 5 years of experience with software development.
- 3 years of experience in testing, maintaining, or launching software products, and 1 year of experience with software design and architecture.
- 2 years of experience in C or C++ and embedded systems (e.g., firmware, Linux kernel, device drivers).
- Experience in graphics or graphics processing unit.
Nice to Have:
- Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or a related technical field.
- Experience in contributing to graphics drivers.
- Experience in developing and debugging native codes on Android.
- Experience with writing graphics Application Programming Interface (API) code and analyzing GPU-accelerated applications like games, image processing or general purpose computing on GPU applications.
- Knowledge of the OpenGL ES, Vulkan, or OpenCL APIs.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Develop GPU graphics and compute technologies spanning the GPU software stack.
- Seek general solutions to problems, minimizing application or device-specific workarounds to serve users of all Pixel devices, including in-market devices.
- Help to evaluate and bring-up devices and work with product and engineering teams to define the role and requirements of the GPU in future product designs.
- Debug user mode and kernel mode problems.
