Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
5 years of experience in troubleshooting with Mechanical, Cooling, and HVAC systems
Ability to perform material handling (lifting/shifting) and work on platforms, ladders, and under raised floors
Ability to work non-standard hours (shifts, weekends, holidays) and varying outdoor environmental conditions
Nice to haves:
Experience in mission critical facilities (Data Centers, Hospitals, Power Plants) or High-Voltage (HV) electrical substations
Experience in the planning, execution, installation, and commissioning of manufacturer equipment and industry protocols
Full driving license
Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and control systems, including: Controls: PLC/SCADA, maintaining automated control systems using sensors, PLCs, Human-Machine Interface (HMIs), and Distributed Control System (DCS). Mechanical: Cooling Towers, Chillers, Commercial Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC). Electrical: Generators, UPS systems, Automatic Transfer Switch/Static Transfer Switch (ATS/STS) units, Power Distribution Unit/Power Management Module (PDU/PMM) units
What you'll be doing:
Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems such as servers, network equipment, Programmable Logic Controller (PLCs), system administration, access control, alarm investigation, and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) management
Provide daily assistance to technicians as you read blueprints/schematics/ladder logic/sequence of operations, conduct tours of systems, and assess their working order
Control, monitoring, logging, and alarming systems
Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in the data center facilities systems and equipment
Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new controls equipment and systems into facilities infrastructure
