Data Center Facilities Technician II, Electrical

Requirements

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of Electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Nice to haves

• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Experience in electrical maintenance in critical facilities.
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment.
• Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance work.

What you'll be doing

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of critical equipment.
• Operate, monitor, and respond to abnormal conditions in the data center facilities.
• Support startup and integration of new electrical equipment.
