Technical Support Engineer

Requirements

• 3–5 years of relevant experience or a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field
• Experience working in an IT Ops, Systems administration, DevOps, or similar role
• Experience supporting mission-critical systems and applications
• Familiarity with best practices of systems architecture, design, and high-performance tuning
• Good communication and written skills to articulate technical information
• Healthy interpersonal problem-solving skills

Nice to Haves

• Bonus points for experience with SQL and/or scripting languages (Python, Perl, shell)

What You'll Be Doing

• Managing and resolving incidents/issues from start to finish, owning initial investigation and troubleshooting
• Handling internal communication and triaging escalations from internal engineering teams or customer support
• Creating and/or updating procedures, run-books, diagrams, and other documentation
• Participating in a 24/7 technical support service shift schedule
