Requirements

• A Tech Lead II is a player-coach responsible for leading a small team.
• Recognized as high-performing engineers.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and other Tech Leads.
• Work across teams with other TLs to resolve cross-team issues.
• Proactively take ownership of their team’s on-call health and product reliability.
• Interest and opinion in the direction of the product.
• Proactively look to grow the members of their team.
• Create and foster diverse teams and an inclusive culture.
• Strong senior engineer with experience leading small teams using Java.
• Open to experimentation and new ways of doing things.
• Thirst for technical challenges in machine learning and distributed systems.
• Customer-centric attitude and ability to develop opinions about the HubSpot product.
• Understanding of building reliable systems in a complex architectural space.
