Senior Engineering Manager - Academy (Remote within UK)

Requirements

• Believes in guiding principles and People and Product over Process philosophy
• Can build a strong engineering culture based on HubSpot engineering principles
• Experience in education, LMS, or Marketplace domains
• Experience in search, recommendation, and/or generative AI spaces
• Bias for action and willingness to make difficult decisions

What You'll Be Doing

• Lead and manage a group of 6-7 small teams
• Set direction and provide clarity in alignment with HubSpot product strategy
• Bring technical perspective and product strategy understanding to the team
• Collaborate with peers to advance software development and delivery infrastructure
• Mentor team members for growth and development
• Contribute to diversity, inclusion, and belonging initiatives
• Attract and recruit talent to the team
