Director, Coroprate Engineering - FinTech Billing

Requirements:

• Embody HubSpot’s engineering leadership principles and are enticed by our embed onboarding process
• Experience in engineering leadership, including proven success in a 2nd line management role within a software development environment
• Deep domain expertise in FinTech, billing systems, payments, or financial platform engineering
• Experience with complex recurring revenue models (ARR), SaaS/subscription management, and usage-based billing is highly desirable
• Proven ability to design, build, and operate finance-critical systems at scale, ideally within large tech companies
• Experience working with and integrating ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and other financial platforms

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead the design, development, and scaling of finance-critical systems
• Drive the technical strategy and architectural evolution for the Billing group
• Partner closely with senior leaders across various departments
• Ensure high data integrity and audit readiness across financial systems
• Foster a culture of operational excellence and technical rigor
• Mentor and develop engineering leaders and engineers
