Research Engineer - Detailed 3D Human Pose, Shape and Expression Estimation

Requirements

• PhD degree in Computer Graphics/Vision, Machine Learning, or related fields
• 5+ years experience in creating 3d geometry processing, 3d animation, and/or deep learning solutions for digital humans
• 5+ years experience creating modern deep learning frameworks and neural network architectures

Nice to Haves

• Proven track record of development and maintenance of tools, libraries, or systems used by 20+ users
• Proven track record of leading software engineering projects involving 5+ people to completion
• Made significant contributions to open source projects or datasets
• Proficient in modern Python and pytorch
• Experience with designing real-time systems in C++ and Cuda
• Experience in various areas such as image processing, multiview systems, camera calibration, 3d pose estimation, etc.
• Experience with digital double generation for VFX production and/or video games
• Experience with 3d packages such as Maya, Blender, Houdini, Unreal Engine, Unity
• Proven track record of significant results demonstrated by grants, fellowships, patents, or publications
• Experience in generating synthetic human data for training ML models

• Drive the development of algorithms, datasets, and pipelines for detailed human representations
• Collaborate with a diverse team to conceptualize, build, and test novel algorithms on digital humans
• Support the realization of research outcomes into code through reusable tools and libraries
• Constantly learn and explore new areas with uncharted technologies
