Graphics Software Engineer - Metaverse Avatars

Requirements

• 5+ years of graphics software engineering experience or 2+ years with a PhD
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant field
• Experience implementing 3D graphics features
• 5+ years of experience with C/C++ programming
• 5+ years of object-oriented and component-based design experience
• Problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Haves

• Experience delivering AAA Games or working on Graphics subsystems
• Knowledge of ray tracing, rasterization, and linear algebra
• Experience with low-level performance profiling and optimization
• Experience with character animation and behavior
• Experience with tools like Maya, Houdini, Blender, etc.

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop innovative graphics frameworks, algorithms, and tools
• Partner with various infrastructure and product teams
• Optimize GPU performance across servers and mobile devices
• Develop and enhance real-time animation and AI systems
• Build tools and pipelines for high-quality digital representations
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
• Write high-quality, performant, and maintainable code
• Document and support graphics and tooling features
