Software Engineer - Games - Horizon Worlds

Requirements

• 5+ years of games (or related industry) experience
• Experience with Unity, Unreal or proprietary game engine
• Experience in engine development
• Proven communication skills and capacity to lead areas of development within a wider project

Nice to Haves

• Experience with UI development
• JavaScript + React experience
• Proven experience to learn new tools, languages and frameworks

What You'll Be Doing

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure successful project delivery
• Working with C#, Unity, C++, JavaScript, React and a range of other technologies to build systems and tools for Horizon Worlds
• Design of User-Generated Content features, including scripting interfaces and tools development
• Working closely with other disciplines to iterate on systems and respond to telemetry data and user feedback
• Focusing on improving user experience within a live games environment
