Senior Software Engineer

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, RUST, Java, JavaScript, or Python
• OR equivalent experience

Nice to Haves:

• Programming experience in one of C, RUST, C++, C# or Java and experience with working on Linux
• Experience delivering high-quality implementations and designs while also working on testing and operational aspects of the service
• Experience in areas like L7 data plane, distributed control plane, cloud networking services
• Building lower-level Linux components in Kernel or ebpf and Distributed networking experience

What You'll Be Doing:

• Drives identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product, application, service, or platform
• Creates, implements, optimizes, debugs, refactors, and reuses code to establish and improve performance and maintainability
• Leverages subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders to drive project plans
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guides other engineers in system monitoring and restoration
• Proactively seeks new knowledge and adapts to new trends to improve product performance
