Software Engineer II

Requirements:

• Works with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a set of features.
• Contributes to the identification of dependencies and the development of design documents for a product area with minimal oversight.
• Designs, develops, and maintains engineering infrastructure, tools, and services for Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
• Builds tools/bots to enhance developer productivity and drive feedback on code and product quality.
• Contributes to breaking down larger work items into smaller tasks and provides estimation.
• Acts as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) for monitoring system/product features/services.
• Remains current in skills to improve product availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with coding experience in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
• OR equivalent experience.

Other Requirements:

• Must meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements.
• Specialized security screenings including Microsoft Cloud Background Check are mandatory.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with coding experience in languages like C, C++, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, or Python.
• Experience with LLMs/SLMs, Azure PaaS & Services is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving & debugging skills.
• Track record of working with partner teams and a mindset for getting things done effectively.
• Self-motivated with a drive for collaboration across teams and organizations.
• Experience with LLMs/SLMs, Azure PaaS & Services, BotFramework.
