Software Engineer II - Maternity Cover (Temporary)

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related technical field AND technical engineering experience
• Some software development experience in a product group
• Strong software engineering fundamentals
• Experience in driving features or components in full life cycle
• Proficiency in at least 1 general purpose programming language
• Passion and motivation for technology
• Written and verbal English communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency with TypeScript or JavaScript
• Experience with modern front-end frameworks such as React is a bonus

What You'll Be Doing

• Design, produce, and deliver software components
• Participate actively in code reviews and bug/issue triage
• Take ownership of ambiguous problems
• Contribute to fixing, enhancing, and supporting services
• Ensure design empowers other developers
• Work with international teams within Microsoft
