Senior Software Engineer

Requirements

• You will participate in the design and development of our analytical graph query engine, based on modern C++.
• You will analyze tradeoffs and prioritize development, modularization, optimization, testing, repairability, and observability of the core system components.
• You will implement appropriate observability metrics and analyze these metrics to improve decision quality.
• You will work on collecting, classifying, and analyzing complex data.
• You will coordinate with leads amongst multiple group project plans, release plans, and work items in coordination with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers).

Required/Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or related technical discipline.
• Proven years of systems engineering experience using modern C++.

Other Requirements

• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Preferred/Additional Qualifications

• Master's or PhD Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
• Professional experience in design, development, and operation of distributed databases and other distributed data systems as an Individual Contributor.
• Exposure to graph data systems, high-performance computing, or low-latency serving systems is a plus.
