Principal Optical Network Engineer - Azure Fiber

Requirements

• 9+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND 6+ years experience
• Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 4+ years experience
• Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND 3+ years experience

Nice to Haves

• 15+ years technical experience in network design, development, and automation
• Bachelor's Degree in relevant fields AND 12+ years experience
• Master's Degree in relevant fields AND 8+ years experience
• Doctorate Degree in relevant fields AND 5+ years experience
• Experience with hollow core or multi-core fiber and cables
• 5+ years of technical experience in optical transceiver design, validation, and testing with various technologies
• Deep understanding of fiber network technologies and network deployment
• Experience with DevOps practices and principles

• Develop and implement scalable network solutions
