Cloud Network Engineer II

Requirements:

• Technical experience in network design, development, and automation
• OR Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field AND technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
• OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field AND technical experience in network design, development, and automation.
• Ability to meet Microsoft, customer, and/or government security screening requirements

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

• Doctorate Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optical Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, OR related field

What You'll Be Doing:

• Develop a technical roadmap for major online/cloud services network infrastructure.
• Provide technical expertise to perform root cause analysis of service interrupting incidents; develop and implement strategies to prevent recurrence.
• Take responsibility for prioritizing critical, competing tasks that may lack clear end results.
• Effectively apply influence strategies and negotiation skills to impact decisions and make trade-offs based on total cost of ownership (TCO) and risk.
• Drive continuous improvements of the networking service, drive automation to manage the scale and continue to optimize the efforts through appropriate tooling and automation.
