Requirements:

Design, develop, and deliver services, tooling, automation, tests and monitoring for Azure Compute foundational services.
Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to determine user requirements for a scenario.
Create, implement, optimize, debug, refactor, and reuse code to establish and improve performance and maintainability, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
Leverage subject-matter expertise of product features and partners with appropriate stakeholders (e.g., project managers) to drive a workgroup's project plans, release plans, and work items.
Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following the playbook, working on call to monitor owned services for degradation, downtime, or interruptions and restoring them back to health.
Proactively seek new knowledge and adapt to latest trends, technical solutions, and patterns that will improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, observability, and performance of products while also driving consistency in monitoring and operations at scale.
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python

Demonstrated problem solving and debugging skills.
You must be legally authorised to work in Romania to be eligible for this role (Legally authorised = has citizenship or has been granted a valid visa or work permit)
Fluency in English

Nice to Haves:

Master's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, or Python

Experience with online services / Cloud is a plus.
Demonstrated ability and passion for designing and building large scale distributed systems.
The ability to multi-task while balancing short-term and long-term tasks is essential.
