Principal Software Engineer - Observability

Requirements:

• Analyze, design, and implement improvements to how telemetry is generated and processed
• Improve performance, security, and reduce Cost of Goods Sold (COGS)
• Strong analytical, design, and development skills
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Proficiency in C# or C/C++
• Experience with telemetry and observability standards
• Strong communication skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of Azure services and observability systems
• Experience with data science, analytics, and ontology
• Experience with building cloud-scale infrastructure components
• Awareness of cloud scale distributed design and patterns
• Familiarity with secure software design concepts
• Proven track record of delivering projects with multiple components

• Collaborate with partner teams to meet engineering goals
• Work on improving telemetry ecosystems and performance analysis
• Develop and maintain high-performance data structures and algorithms
• Influence engineering teams without direct authority
