Senior Applied Scientist

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Strong foundation in algorithms, data structures, statistics, and data analysis.
• Demonstrated experience developing data driven or model-based solutions.
• Proficiency in at least one general-purpose programming language.
• Strong collaboration skills.

Nice to haves

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience designing or influencing large-scale data processing systems.
• Demonstrated strength in analytical modeling and experimentation.
• Deep proficiency in C# and the .NET ecosystem.

What You'll Be Doing

• Formulate complex and ambiguous location intelligence problems.
• Design, execute, and analyze rigorous experiments and evaluations.
• Develop data-driven models and algorithms for location inference.
• Drive product impact by translating scientific insights into recommendations.
• Partner with product managers and engineers to ensure alignment.
• Analyze large-scale data to identify root causes of quality issues.
• Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Provide applied science leadership through reviewing experimental designs and methodologies.
