Senior Backend Engineer

Requirements

• Strong experience working on the backend of a technology product
• Interested in building a product used daily
• Product mindset and care about customer outcomes
• Comfortable working in a team dealing with ambiguity
• Interest in distributed systems and writing resilient software
• Experience with strongly-typed languages (Go, Java, C, Scala, etc.)

What you'll be doing

• Collaborating across disciplines in a squad environment
• Building and supporting a specific part of Monzo
• Participating in product squads within collectives like Money, Borrowing, Fincrime, etc.
• Learning new things and contributing to diverse engineering projects
