Senior Software Engineer - Mobile Android

Requirements

• Several years of experience building complex applications for a broad and diverse user base using Java, Kotlin, and/or C++
• Experience resolving problems, signaling risk, fostering change, and facilitating collaborative decision-making
• Passion for building excellent products, and a sense of ownership from design to bug squashing
• Modern programming practices (code review, unit testing, automation)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment to deliver high-quality code on time
• Open to asking questions and suggesting new insights for positive impact
• Desire to work with outstanding people and commitment to company values

What you'll be doing

• Build, debug, and ship Android features and solutions promoting a healthy and inclusive internet
• Collaborate with partners to define and drive initiatives
• Effectively communicate engineering development perspective with technical and non-technical team members
• Define and uphold quality standards through code reviews, testing, and coding practices
• Collaborate with Gecko teams to bring browser functionality to Android
