Senior Systems Software Engineer

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in systems software engineering using C++
• 1+ year of experience in Rust
• Expertise in at least one operating system APIs: Windows/Linux/macOS/Android
• Experience working on and debugging large multi-threaded applications
• Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across engineering teams

Nice to Haves

• Familiarity with JavaScript, Java, Android development, Python

What You'll Be Doing

• Develop new features for the Firefox Profiler
• Expand data captured by the Firefox Profiler
• Engage with performance team efforts
• Engage with other Firefox engineers to improve tool efficiency
• Promote the use of performance tools within and beyond Mozilla
• Mentor volunteers contributing to the codebase
