Backend Engineer - Acquire

About the opportunity

• You will work in the Grow & Engage domain, focusing on customer experience.
• Specifically within the Acquire team, you will work on delivering innovative features.
• This is a hybrid role based in Barcelona or Berlin.

In this role, you will:

• Do discovery, design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain software.
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables in a team environment.
• Stay up to date with the latest technology trends.
• Propose new findings during Get Stuff Done Days.

What you need to be successful:

• Experience with JVM language and Spring Boot in production systems (Kotlin experience is a plus).
• Understanding of microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres.
• Experience with modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS.
• Strong bias for action, attention to security, and code quality.
• Ability to give and receive open, direct feedback.
