Principal Engineer - AdTech

Requirements

• 15+ years of building and delivering scalable, distributed systems using microservices, APIs, and data processing (streaming & batch)
• Strong expertise in cloud infrastructure with deep AWS knowledge
• Solid understanding of storage systems (SQL, NoSQL, caching layers) and streaming and data pipelines
• Familiarity with observability and monitoring tools (e.g., Grafana, DataDog)
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives across teams within a large engineering organization

Nice to Have

• Experience with AdTech systems, including low-latency ad serving, measurement, and attribution pipelines

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product to define technical goals and deliver high value to stakeholders and customers
• Lead architecture discussions across domains and tribes, representing the tribe in reviews and identifying improvements
• Set high engineering standards through mentorship and best practices
• Drive future-oriented technical decisions via RFCs and similar tools
• Conduct regular reviews on reliability, scalability, and security at the tribe level
• Champion Agentic coding practices across engineering teams
