Data Center Facilities Technician II, Electrical

Requirements:

• Associate's degree, trade school certification, or other certified training in a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
• Ability to participate in material handling tasks such as lifting, carrying, or moving up to 50 lbs of equipment.
• Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.

Nice to haves:

• 5 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems or construction/technical environment.
• Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
• Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment.
• Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance or upgrades.

What you'll be doing:

• Inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems.
• Provide daily assistance to technicians by reading blueprints, schematics, and conducting system tours.
• Manage the uptime and maintenance of UPS, generators, electrical distribution, and control systems.
• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in the data center facilities systems.
• Support startup, commissioning, and integration of new electrical equipment and systems.
