Software Configuration Management Engineer – Hardware

Requirements:

• MS (preferred) or BS in Computer Science (or equivalent experience) with at least 5+ years of experience
• Deep understanding of SCM processes and tools like Perforce, Git, Subversion, or ClearCase
• Experience with Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous Deployment (CD) systems
• Proficiency in interpreted languages like Object Oriented Perl or Python
• Strong object-oriented programming and design pattern knowledge
• Experience with databases, MySQL or Postgres preferred, NoSQL a plus
• Experience with DevOps or system administration in Linux systems
• Strong experience in automation, Ansible or Puppet preferred
• Excellent interpersonal skills and communication
• Comfortable in dynamic and ever-evolving environments

What you'll be doing:

• Responsible for the full SCM environment, including application, OS, and server hardware components
• Create new solutions to enhance reliability and performance of infrastructure
• Work on automated orchestration tools to deploy improvements globally
• Collaborate with a global team, evaluate technology alternatives, and lead ongoing enhancements
• Enhance productivity of chip designers and software engineers
