Staff Infrastructure Security Software Engineer (Remote)

What You'll Be Doing:

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• Review cloud and compute architecture design changes with engineering teams
• Establish threat models for cloud and compute paved roads
• Develop or adopt open-source tools for monitoring and hardening infrastructure
• Apply security best practices for AWS and Kubernetes
• Define and implement security policies
• Write code for automations supporting security requirements
• Participate in incident response process
