Senior Full Stack Engineer - Developer API, Poe (Remote)

Requirements:

• Availability for meetings and impromptu communication during Quora's "coordination hours" (Mon-Fri: 9am-3pm Pacific Time)
• 5+ years of experience working with large scale codebases and systems
• 3+ years of experience working with React, Typescript, and GraphQL
• 3+ years experience in Python, Java, C++ or similar programming language
• 2+ years experience in designing APIs or building UI products for external developers
• A passion for learning and always improving yourself and the team around you
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities:

• Partner with cross-functional teams (design, product, data science, QA, and engineering) to advise on product roadmap and create innovative features and developer experiences with our APIs
• Rapidly prototype and implement new product features from ideation to production, using modern web technologies and best practices for performance and reliability
• Collaborate closely with early access developers to deliver scalable and efficient API features
• Be a champion for both developer experience and for sustainable, scalable code practices
• Participate in on-call responsibilities to ensure Poe provides a reliable and high quality product

• Canada candidates only: For Toronto and Vancouver based applicants, the salary range is $225,933 - $305,791 CAD + equity + benefits. For all other locations in Canada, the salary range is $210,871 - $285,405 CAD + equity + benefits.
