Staff Backend Engineer, Top of Funnel

Requirements:

• BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of industry experience in large-scale distributed systems
• 8+ years of hands-on, professional software development experience in one or more programming languages
• Experienced with GraphQL, REST, HTTP, and distributed caching layers
• Track record of developing highly scalable and reliable serving systems

What You'll Be Doing:

• Lead key technical and design decisions
• Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering teams
• Contribute to full development cycle: design, development, test, launch
• Contribute to team strategy and mentor junior engineers
