A solid technical background with proven experience in a senior leadership role
Experience defining and executing technical strategy for a suite of products
A demonstrated ability to lead and mentor large engineering teams
Experience in strategic thinking and collaboration with senior leadership
Excellent communication skills and to be capable of influencing stakeholders at all levels
A proven track record of delivering impactful projects and managing product lifecycles
A passion for building and fostering high-performing engineering teams

What you'll be doing
Acting as the technical owner, defining the future state of the department's systems and creating a roadmap to get there
Ensuring execution and delivery of product improvements with an optimal time to market
Leading and mentoring a large team of 60+ engineers across 6 full-stack product teams
Raising the talent bar through effective hiring and talent management, fostering a culture of technical excellence and collaboration
Working directly with the Head of Product on long-term strategic thinking, and collaborating with senior leaders to align the technical roadmap with broader business goals
Balancing the development of new features with the refactoring of legacy systems to ensure long-term scalability and quality
Influencing stakeholders at all levels to execute the department's technical vision
