Junior Android Engineer, Core Experience

Requirements

• Hold a degree in computer science or similar subject
• Minimum 1+ years of working experience in a similar Android engineering position
• Understanding of Android development
• Previous coding experience in object-oriented Kotlin
• Quality-focused mindset with experience in shipping high-quality code
• Knowledge of distributed systems and passion for pairing programming and agile technologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

What You'll Be Doing

• Collaborate with a small, autonomous team of developers, designers, and product owners
• Implement solutions for our Android client following best practices
• Help solve problems tailored for Android users and codebase
• Contribute to shaping the direction of Android development at Spotify
