Backend Engineer, Data Platform

Requirements

• Proficient in backend development using Java
• Comfortable working with big data using SQL and data analytics platforms such as BigQuery
• Experience with JVM-based data processing frameworks such as Flink, Beam, Spark, etc.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure, containerized applications, and Kubernetes
• Experience in data engineering pipelines in Scala and/or Python

• Collaborating with product and engineering to build and support infrastructure for data processing
• Increasing developer productivity by building innovative tools
• Working with deep expertise in data and driving improvements in data processing ecosystem
