Backend Engineer, Platform Developer Experience

Requirements

• Experienced Software Engineer with Java
• Experience deploying to and implementing solutions in Kubernetes
• Familiarity with NodeJS, Python, shell scripting, and go would be a bonus
• 4+ years of experience in building and implementing large-scale systems
• Enthusiasm for software engineering best practices

What You'll Be Doing

• Execute on Spotify’s future CI infrastructure strategy serving 3000+ engineers
• Architect, design, develop, deploy, and operate services and systems
• Collaborate with Infrastructure teams to define outstanding CI infrastructure
• Drive automation and improvements across technical stacks
• Mentor engineering staff and ensure internal growth
