Sr. Software Engineer, Container Platform

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience programming in multiple languages such as Go, Java, Python, C/C++
• 3+ years of experience in low-level systems, distributed systems, or similar technologies

Nice to Haves

• Background in large-scale backend infrastructure
• Working experience in cluster management solutions such as Kubernetes or Mesos
• Understanding of container technologies such as Docker or containerd
• Knowledge of operating systems and Linux kernel

What you'll be doing

• Leads high quality design and artifacts to define and drive improvements to product and engineering quality; lead projects across all lifecycle stages from ideation, design, project planning to execution.
• Write maintainable and extensible code with high quality tests and documentation
• Productionize solutions across the fleet by enabling observability for close monitoring and evolving the solution based on production experience.
• Drive collaboration across multiple teams for successful delivery of goals.
• Mentor junior engineers in the team to grow in leadership abilities
• Represent the team in internal and external forums
