Requirements

4+ years of experience in backend software engineering, preferably in platform or infrastructure teams.
Proficiency in at least one modern programming language (e.g., Go, Python, Java).
Solid understanding of backend systems, APIs, and distributed systems design.
Experience working with cloud environments (AWS, GCP, Azure) and infrastructure components.
Strong problem-solving skills and a collaborative mindset.
Familiarity with security best practices in service authentication, access control, and data protection.

Nice to Haves

Experience with platform security like PKI systems, secrets management, or identity frameworks.
Exposure to infrastructure-as-code and automation tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
Understanding of secure communication protocols (e.g., TLS, mTLS, OAuth).
Familiarity with DevOps tooling and CI/CD pipelines.
Interest in growing into a technical leadership role over time.

Contribute to the design and development of secure, scalable backend services used across internal systems and teams.
Build tools and services for identity management, secrets handling, and service authentication.
Implement automation for certificate lifecycle management and other security workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security capabilities across cloud and hybrid infrastructure (AWS, GCP, on-prem).
Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and on-call rotations to support a reliable and secure infrastructure.
Continuously improve existing systems and adopt best practices in infrastructure security.
